I arrived at Rowdy Ranch to meet Amara for the first time, it immediately started raining. We headed for cover in her beautiful repurposed window greenhouse to talk about her handmade Tallow Products and why she started making Tallow in the first place. Rowdy Ranch Tallow got started after Amara struggled to find clean skin care products, so she created a line with the organ suet when her family butchered a cow around Christmas time. Her line consists of clean scents made with botanical extracts and no artificial fragrances or fillers. Her scent combinations are thoughtful and delicious, and the tallow is a whipped texture that melts on your fingertips when you apply it to your skin. While getting to know Amara, it’s easy to see she perfectly embodies the spirit of an entrepreneur who is creative, resourceful and passionate about her business. I heard once that we create our businesses for an old version of ourself. I think Amara has done that with her tallow.
Before we hit the road Amara also took my daughters and I thru her farm and introduced us to her animals. Her creative genius is painted in every space of her land.
